Sold-Out Worcester Fans Forum is a Hit!

Wednesday evening saw the return of the Worcester Fans Forum with The Albion Foundation once again taking over the Graeme Hick Pavilion at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

The night consisted of a Q&A with Club Captain Chris Brunt and goalkeeper Boaz Myhill along with former fans favourites Tony “Bomber” Brown and Joe Mayo.

The evening was compered by Free Radio commentator Tom Ross in front of a sell-out crowd of over one hundred eager Baggies fans who enjoyed a curry and a pint prior to the players’ appearance.

Questions were wide ranging and challenging for all players which prompted lively discussions as to how the club can move away from the relegation zone, players dress sense (which resulted in Boaz Myhill reluctantly admitting to being the worst culprit) and favourite goals.

The evening culminated in an auction and raffle with some great prizes won including the signed match-worn shirts of Chris Brunt and Boaz Myhill from the Foundation Day match against Liverpool, a signed first team jersey, soccer camp places, champagne and chocolates.

All proceeds raised on the night will go towards the disability work that the Albion Foundation conducts within the community.

James Rayner: “It was a top night at the Fans Forum. Chris Brunt, Tony Brown, Boaz Myhill and Joe Mayo were all on top form

Sam Box: “It was a great night for a great cause. It was a good to meet Chris Brunt and legend Tony Brown

We would like to thank all fans who attended this great night and congratulations to all winning bidders in the auction, with total proceeds of £2,000 raised throughout the night.
