The Albion Foundation teams up with London Midland
The Albion Foundation is delighted to announce their new partnership with London Midland.
The new partnership includes headline sponsorship for Albion Cares Day in the Premier League fixture against Southampton on Saturday 8th April.
Since 2007, London Midland has been providing train services to and from London in the South, to Birmingham in the Midlands and Liverpool in the North-West.
Over 70 million passenger journeys a year are made using the network, managing 150 stations and operating 1,300 services a day.
Jonathan Ward, Football Development and Sponsorship Officer at The Foundation, said:
“The Albion Foundation is extremely pleased to have secured a partnership with London Midland.
“This partnership will enable us to continue to make a difference within our local community and schools. London Midland is a fantastic organisation which we are pleased to be associated with and we look forward to what the future will hold.”
The train company will also be supporting the Blind Dave Colour Run. The 5k run is raising money for The Foundation and will be held on Saturday 22nd July.
More information on how you can get involved with the Colour Run to follow shortly.
London Midland’s Commercial Director Richard Brooks said:
“When we were approached by The Albion Foundation it was their guiding principles that sparked our interest.
“This is further evidence of London Midland’s commitment to getting closer to the communities we serve. With the Foundation’s aim to “Inspire to Achieve” we knew we were in good company to focus on a programme that supports the extraordinary community work being delivered by an exceptionally dedicated team.”
Being headline sponsors of Albion Cares Day, Richard explained why London Midland have got behind the event.
“We are supporting the Foundation in a number of ways but there’s no doubt that the most exciting so far is being involved in Albion Cares Day.
“This is a real opportunity for everyone to show their appreciation for what the Foundation does and to make sure that they can carry on the work in our local community that we should all be proud of.
“What I have seen them doing so far is truly inspiring and I urge everyone to give generously to what is a truly worthwhile cause.”
