The Premier League Girls Football programme is funded by the Premier League and uses the brand of WBA FC to encourage females aged 14-25 to get involved in the sport.
Satellite clubs are delivered FREE to Secondary schools across Sandwell and Dudley to offer fun, recreational sessions, whilst learning new skills and tactics within football. At the school based satellites, we aim to introduce females to the game, improve those who currently play that may be attached to a grassroots club and also offer a pathway for female players:
Throughout the year, we ensure our participants have regular access to competitions Regionally and Nationally against other schools within our set up and also other professional football clubs..
We also have a number of female participants who volunteer at satellites, assisting lead coaches with access to qualifications to help with their coaching and refereeing pathways.
Our current satellite schools are:
Brownhills High School,
Windsor High School,
Wood Green Academy,
George Salter Academy,
Holly Lodge High School,
