Mark Jenkins (Chairman)
Qualified Chartered Accountant from Ernst & Young in 1990, he then worked for Misys plc. from 1992 where he held a number of senior financial roles. Was appointed Finance Director of West Bromwich Albion plc. in December 2000 and became the Club’s Chief Executive in 2010.
Martin Swain (Trustee)
Aged 60 – Director of Communications at WBA FC., appointed a trustee in October 15. He was a journalist at the Express & Star for 25 years during which he has covered major sporting events across the globe as well as much closer to home. Before joining the country’s largest-selling regional newspaper, he worked in a similar capacity at the Birmingham Post & Mail and has authored acclaimed books involving some of the region’s biggest football names. He has written extensively on all aspects of West Midlands football.
Councillor Simon Hackett (Trustee)
Councillor Simon Hackett is councillor for the Friar Park ward and Cabinet Member for Children’s Services. He has been a councillor since 2004 and has held a number of Council positions including Town Lead for Wednesbury and Cabinet Member for Housing. Simon also work with Tom Watson, who is also MP for West Bromwich East. He is currently training to be a teacher and is a Season Ticket Holder for West Bromwich Albion.
Ninder Johal is the Black Country Chamber of Commerce President, succeeding Paul Bennett who stepped down on 31st March 2014. As President, Ninder is responsible for representing business in the Black Country; working with local decision-makers to ensure that the Chamber influences policy for the benefit of local business.
