We currently have the following job vacancies:

Black Country and Sandwell Community Coach
Salary: £16,000
Full Time – Contracted
Closing date: 10th June 2016

Purpose: To deliver sports coaching sessions within the day to day sports development programme.  This to include, planning, monitoring and evaluation of sessions and activities.  Maintain and enhance the quality and support growth of the provision.

Responsible to: Sports Development Manager or Worcestershire Development Officer.

Duties:

  • To deliver coaching/educational sessions to a wide range of local schools, clubs and organisations whilst promoting The Albion Foundation within the Community.
  • Perform administration duties to support programmes, for example updating VIEWS with attendance information, distribution of information to schools and other organisations.
  • Develop grassroots football by delivering coaching sessions in schools and community settings whilst strengthening links.
  • Ensure all provision is delivered in a safe environment and all safeguarding regulations are followed.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared and suitable for each session, this includes first aid kits.
  • Promote a positive and professional image at all times.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, schools and teachers and other outside agencies.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by Sports Development Manager or equivalent.

Worcestershire Community Coach

Sporting Club Albion Ladies Media Assistant
Voluntary Position
Part Time – Matchdays and occasional training sessions
(involves weekends)

The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of Sports and Education programmes.

The role:

Reporting to the Marketing Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • All social media accounts of Sporting Club Albion (SCA) Ladies (Facebook and Twitter).
  • Providing text commentaries through above social media channels.
  • Creating engaging content that will effectively promote SCA Ladies.
  • Writing match previews/reports from Premier League matches. 

You:

  • Will cover all match-days, home and away, that the Ladies play in. Matches will be on a Sunday afternoon with a 2:00pm kick off.
  • Are a graduate or are working towards a degree in Sports Journalism/Media
  • Have a keen interest in sport and beginning a career in the sports industry.
  • Will be available to travel to Halesowen Town FC, The Grove, Old Hawne Lane, Halesowen, B63 3TB for home matches. You will be able to travel on the team bus for away games.

Sporting Club Albion Ladies Team Photographer
Voluntary Position
Part Time – Matchdays and occasional training sessions

The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of Sports and Education programmes.

The role:

Reporting to the Marketing Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Taking professional-standard action photos of all Sporting Club Albion Ladies on all match days and occasional training sessions.
  • Ensure that all photos taken are sent to Club Secretary within 1-2 days of fixture for use on social media, website and match day programmes.

You:

  • Will cover all match-days, home and away, that the Ladies play in. Matches will be on a Sunday afternoon with a 2:00pm kick off.
  • Are a graduate or are working towards a degree in photography
  • Have a keen interest in sport and beginning a career in Sports Photography.
  • Own your own high-spec camera.
  • Have experience of taking photos in sports.
  • Will be available to travel to Halesowen Town FC, The Grove, Old Hawne Lane, Halesowen, B63 3TB for home matches. You will be able to travel on the team bus for away games.

Dance/Fitness Coaches required for local Dance Academy

Local Dance Academy, working in partnership with The Albion Foundation are looking to recruit coaches that will be required to deliver dance, drama and/or fitness sessions within schools across Sandwell, Dudley, Worcestershire and Worcester. The roles will be on a part time basis with a pay rate of £15/hour.

Dance training is required but not essential as training will be given.
