The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of sport, education and disability programmes.

Our Education and Engagement team aim to engage a variety of young people; improving attainment, changing behaviour, increasing attendance, raising self-esteem and boosting confidence.  We work with a range of schools and partners.

Here at The Albion Foundation, we offer opportunities to participate in alternative provision for participants who have not engaged in more traditional learning environments; enabling them to re-engage in positive activities.

Our programmes are aimed young people in KS2 to KS4.  We also offer post 16 programmes to young people that need support gaining training or employment through our Employability team.

We support pupils on primary and secondary school sites with various sessions including one to one work, in class support and leading on curriculum-based lessons that will engage and enthuse.

The Albion Foundation work in partnership with both Sandwell and Birmingham Looked After Children (LAC) virtual schools to provide curriculum time interventions, evening, weekend and holiday provision for LAC.

We are recruiting creative, ambitious, positive leaders for September 2017 who genuinely have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and most importantly young people; striving to ‘Inspire to Achieve’.

Roles include the following:

Worcestershire Football Development Co-ordinator 

Purpose:              To co-ordinate and oversee the football element of the Worcestershire programme, with a focus on development centres, open ability evening centres, school holiday courses and links to local grassroots clubs. To deliver regular sessions, including within a Primary School setting as part of the Primary Stars programme.

Responsible to: Worcestershire Development Officer

Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 (Plus additional ongoing CPD opportunities)

Disability Coach

Purpose: To deliver disability sports coaching sessions within the day to day One Albion Disability programme and within WBA Disability teams. This is to include, planning, monitoring and evaluation of sessions and activities. Maintain and enhance the quality of the provision.

Responsible to: Disability Development Manager

Salary: £14,000 – £18,000 – full time per annum

Disability Coach

 

Positive Well-Being Worker – Education

(Full time – 12 month fixed term contract in the first instance)

£16,000 – £19,000

The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of sport, education and disability programmes that works in partnership with West Bromwich Albion FC.

 

We have secured funding to enable us to work in partnership with The Kaleidoscope Group to design and deliver a ‘Positive Well-Being’ schools programme and to support campaigns that raise awareness of mental health and well-being.
