The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of Sports and Education programmes.

We currently have the following job vacancies:

Sporting Club Albion FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence Technical Director
Salary: £6,500 – £8,000 per annum
Responsible to: The Director of The Albion Foundation
Start Date: ASAP

Purpose of post: To develop and implement a technical/tactical player and coach development programme across all age groups within the Girls’ Centre of Excellence programme in line with FA criteria

Responsible for:

  • Implementing a training programme in line with LTPD guidelines,
  • Ensure high standards of coaching delivery across all five age groups,
  • Develop and overseeing a continuous professional development programme, to include a comprehensive mentoring strategy, for coaches and support staff involved within the Centre of Excellence,
  • Ensuring the Centre of Excellence adheres to the FA standards for safeguarding children,
  • Monitoring and evaluating the player and coach performance of the Centre,
  • Provide 11 performance reports for all players and staff.

Key skills and experience required:

Essential:

  • A Licence
  • FA Youth Award Module 1 & 2 and must have attended Module  3
  • FA Licensed
  • A recognised First Aid Qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
  • An accepted Enhanced FA CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure
  • Experience of coaching young players
  • An appreciation and experience of mentoring and developing other coaches
  • Understanding of the FA Women’s and Girls  player pathway. 
  • An understanding and implications of Long Term Player Development
  • Experience of managing individuals and teams
  • Willingness to work weekends when required
  • Ability to travel independently

Sporting Club Albion Centre of Excellence Sports Therapist/Physiotherapist 
Salary Range: £2,500-£4,000 per annum – Dependent on experience 
Part Time – 1 Year Fixed Term 

The role: 

Reporting to Centre of Excellence Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for: 

  • Maintain records of all injuries sustained. 
  • Provide injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for players who are injured during training and/or games. 

You

  • Will cover all training nights on Mondays and Thursdays between the time of 6:00pm-9:00pm and match days between the times of 9:30am-12:30pm. 
  • Are a graduate who has a degree in either Sports Therapy or Physiotherapy. 
  • Will provide expert treatment to all players on training nights and match days. 
  • Will be a hard-working, enthusiastic and committed individual dedicated to becoming an expert in female football injuries and rehabilitation techniques. 
  • Will have an in-depth knowledge on musculoskeletal injuries.

Dance/Fitness Coaches required for local Dance Academy

Local Dance Academy, working in partnership with The Albion Foundation are looking to recruit coaches that will be required to deliver dance, drama and/or fitness sessions within schools across Sandwell, Dudley, Worcestershire and Worcester. The roles will be on a part time basis with a pay rate of £15/hour.

Dance training is required but not essential as training will be given.
