‘Inspire’ Coach – Raising Attainment through Enterprise
Education and Inclusion team

Salary Range – £16,000 – £19,000
Contract – one year in the first instance

The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of Sports and Education programmes.

Our Education and Inclusion team is developing and is seeking to appoint a new member of staff who can ‘Inspire to Achieve’. We are looking for a talented individual who has a genuine interest in working with young people who may: 

  • Be underachieving
  • Display challenging behaviour
  • Have special educational needs
  • Find the transition from Key Stage 2 to 3 difficulty

The role: 

Reporting to Education and Inclusion Manager – the successful candidates will be responsible for: 

  • Using the kudos of West Bromwich Albion Football Club and specifically it’s business model to raise attainment in English and Maths at Key Stage 3.
  • Develop a scheme of exciting, innovative and engaging lessons that raise attainment using football as the medium to learn
  • Work with identified cohorts of underachieving young people on various partner school sites
  • Leading lessons that engage, enthuse and progress young people
  • Measure the difference that young people who you work with make
  • Reporting on progress to both partner schools and parents / carers
  • Ensure all monitoring requirements stipulated by the Premier League are met
  • Contribute to the sustainability and further development of these programmes through high quality delivery and a professional approach 


  • Will have a track record of working with a range of young people in a variety of settings.
  • Will be outstanding at engaging with all young people and will have the ability to gain their respect quickly. In turn you will understand their circumstances and barriers to learning and will assist them to overcome these using a non-judgemental approach.
  • Will have a passion for working with young people.
  • Will understand the importance of evaluation and how to demonstrate the positive impact you will make
  • Will be confident and experienced to work across multi settings and teams.
  • Will have outstanding organisational skills and will always pay attention to detail
  • Will understand how the kudos of ‘West Bromwich Albion FC’ can ‘inspire to achieve’.

Dance/Fitness Coaches required for local Dance Academy

Local Dance Academy, working in partnership with The Albion Foundation are looking to recruit coaches that will be required to deliver dance, drama and/or fitness sessions within schools across Sandwell, Dudley, Worcestershire and Worcester. The roles will be on a part time basis with a pay rate of £15/hour.

Dance training is required but not essential as training will be given.
