We currently have the following job vacancies:

 

FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence GK Coach
Salary: £2,500-3,500
Location: Sporting Club Albion
Responsible to: Centre of Excellence Technical Director
Purpose of Post: To deliver practical goalkeeping sessions in line with the Girls Centre of Excellence technical programme   

Responsible for:     

  • Providing high quality goal keeping coaching and support
  • Implementing a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines
  • To support the coaches across all age groups
  • The welfare of players within their designated age group

Key skills and experience required: Essential

  • FA Level 2 GK Certificate in Coaching Football
  • FA Youth Award – Module 1 and must have attended the Module 2 by April 2013
  • FA Licensed
  • A recognised First Aid Qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
  • An accepted Enhanced FA CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure
  • Experience in coaching girls’ football
  • An understanding of current centre of excellence structures
  • Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs
  • Willingness to work weekends and training events when required
  • Own transport essential

Desirable 

  • An understanding of Talent Identification
  • An appreciation of Long Term Player Development
  • Attended the FA Youth Coaches Course
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with young players 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Understanding of the FA girls & women’s player pathway.

Sporting Club Albion FA Girls’ Centre of Excellence Technical Director
Salary: £6,500 – £8,000 per annum
Responsible to: The Director of The Albion Foundation
Start Date: ASAP

Purpose of post: To develop and implement a technical/tactical player and coach development programme across all age groups within the Girls’ Centre of Excellence programme in line with FA criteria

Responsible for:

  • Implementing a training programme in line with LTPD guidelines,
  • Ensure high standards of coaching delivery across all five age groups,
  • Develop and overseeing a continuous professional development programme, to include a comprehensive mentoring strategy, for coaches and support staff involved within the Centre of Excellence,
  • Ensuring the Centre of Excellence adheres to the FA standards for safeguarding children,
  • Monitoring and evaluating the player and coach performance of the Centre,
  • Provide 11 performance reports for all players and staff.

Key skills and experience required:

Essential:

  • A Licence
  • FA Youth Award Module 1 & 2 and must have attended Module  3
  • FA Licensed
  • A recognised First Aid Qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate

  • Experience of coaching young players
  • An appreciation and experience of mentoring and developing other coaches
  • Understanding of the FA Women’s and Girls  player pathway. 
  • An understanding and implications of Long Term Player Development
  • Experience of managing individuals and teams
  • Willingness to work weekends when required
  • Ability to travel independently

Dance/Fitness Coaches required for local Dance Academy

Local Dance Academy, working in partnership with The Albion Foundation are looking to recruit coaches that will be required to deliver dance, drama and/or fitness sessions within schools across Sandwell, Dudley, Worcestershire and Worcester. The roles will be on a part time basis with a pay rate of £15/hour.

Dance training is required but not essential as training will be given.
