BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNITY SPORTS PROGRAMME OF THE YEAR 2014!

We deliver a range of sporting opportunities introducing young people with disabilities and or learning difficulties to quality coaching. This is complemented by our education support and mentoring.

We offer a range of programmes and services to schools and clubs (for more information about each programme, click on the heading):

Out of School Hours Sports Programmes
We work in a mix of special and mainstream schools to deliver an out of school hour’s sports programme to children on the Special Educational Needs Register.

Disability Development Centres
The progression from the School sessions is to one of our four Development Centres. These features sessions in powerchair sports and PAN disability sport.

Education Support and Mentoring
We provide bespoke support to individuals, small or large groups to improve confidence, self-esteem, and educational attainment.

Disability Awareness Roadshow
Our Disability Coordinator Paul Hunt visits mainstream Primary Schools and delivers an awareness-raising assembly about living life with a disability.

The Albion Foundation Powerchair Football and Further Education Elite Programme 
Specifically designed for ambitious young sports people with high needs aged 16-24 years old who are passionate about football, coaching and sports leadership.

Adult Disability Provision
Delivery of multi-sports activity for adults, predominantly based at Portway Lifestyle Centre, Oldbury.
